How have you mapped your GenAI journey from vision to implementation? What regulatory factors are blocking your path? What niche use cases, possibly nested within broader use cases, can be identified across different business units? Following the success of our GenAI for Insurance Workshop in January, we're opening our doors at The Shard again, this time for senior decision makers in FS&I to join us in hashing out a blueprint for their GenAI proof-of-concept. Led by our CTO Murray Foxcroft and Chief Digital Officer Simon Sear, we'll guide you through a design-led thinking process to accelerate your path to prototype. https://lnkd.in/eMP5V9PH Don't just take our word for it -- this is how our previous sessions have been rated by attendees: ★★★★★ Solution Architect, BDO Global ★★★★☆ Head of Solutions Delivery, Chaucer Group ★★★★☆ Enterprise & Solution Architect, Lancashire Group ★★★★☆ Group Technology Advisor, Correlation Risk Partners The workshop is entirely complimentary, with a patisserie breakfast and casual working lunch included. Delegates are welcome to invite up to two colleagues to join them. Apply for your places here: https://lnkd.in/eMP5V9PH Don't work in Finance or Insurance? We've got your back. In the same link above, you can apply to attend our generalist workshop on 7th March — this later workshop is also open to applicants from FS&I who can't attend on the 29th February. See you there. #finance #insurance #reinsurance #banking #genai #openai #azure

As we wrap up day 2 at #ITIEU2024, we’d like to thank everyone who visited our stand, and all who joined us in meaningful discussions during the conference. We look forward to continuing those conversations! Today, our CTO, Murray Foxcroft, took to the Tech Stage to deliver an insightful presentation on a crucial but often overlooked issue: process debt. Referring to the buildup of outdated, inefficient ways of working and tools that hamper growth and innovation within organisations, Murray discussed how #designthinking, #generativeAI and #platformengineering can be powerful solutions for improving agility and fostering innovation. We also want to give a big shoutout to the organisers of Insurtech Insights for putting together such a fantastic event. We're thrilled to have been a part of it! #ITIEurope2024 #Insurtech #futureofinsurance

We continue to celebrate #InternationalWomensDay by sharing an update on England & Wales Cricket Board (ECB)’s literal game-changing initiative to drive equality in cricket, harnessing data and analytics to help women play, perform and develop. We make up a small part of this programme alongside the extremely talented sports professionals and medics, but we're very proud to be involved. We’re lucky enough to be working with Thamindu Wedatilake and Anna Warren to help the elite women’s team make increasingly effective and innovative use of data: enhancing performance management, driving decision-making and guiding player development. With amazing ongoing support and leadership from the teams at Microsoft Derrick McCourt, Ivy N., Chris Muir, Eleri Gibbon, Santosh Takoor and ECB, including Jonathan Finch, Clare Connor CBE, Tim Pemberton and Kate Miller, we look forward to seeing both the continued success of the programme and the impact that it will have on future generations of female cricketers. #IWD #WomenInCricket #WomenInSport #DataInnovation #AppInnovation #TechForGood

It's a well-documented fact that women are still significantly under-represented in our industry, accounting for just 26% of the UK’s tech workforce (Women In Tech Survey 2023: https://lnkd.in/emG_fvJg). This a 7% increase since 2019 so can just about be considered progress — but we’ve still got a long way to go. Here’s how we’re working hard to #inspireinclusion at Ascent in 2024. Our thriving Women Innovate community at Ascent is focused on: · ENGAGING female talent, both the fantastic women in our internal teams today and the women we want to bring into our business tomorrow as we grow and scale. · EMPOWERING women in our industry by continuously identifying and creating roles in our business that support greater flexibility for working mothers and returners to work. · Helping our female talent EXCEL in everything they do: providing inspiring training programmes like Women Rising and opportunities to develop and grow under mentorship programmes that focus on female leadership, building resilience and developing your personal brand. A huge thank you to all the remarkable women of Ascent for their passion and dedication to building a truly equitable workplace, and the amazing allies we have at every level in our business who support the journey. Happy #internationalwomensday2024 to absolutely everybody. PS: Did you know that Ascent is the Official Performance Insight Partner to ECB Women’s Cricket England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB)?
